How to make money with a new product that (probably) isn't patentable?
I devised a simple idea for a simple product. I told my wife and she said "Great idea!" I've checked online and there's nothing like it. I'll probably speak to a patent agent in the near future but I suspect it isn't patentable. Any ideas?

Make one product prototype, put a photo and marketing copy on a "landing" page, then test it with google adwords to see if anyone wants to buy it. If you see huge demand, you can find a manufacturer in Hong Kong to take it to the next level and give you a percentage licensing fee.

Run with it. If it's a good idea, people will buy it. If it's very good, people will copy it. Stay ahead of the pack.
