Don't try to impress, try to express yourself. It may be possible that the girl you are looking for is not fit for you. Or you can also take the other way round...may be you are not fit for her. So if you really want to impress a girl, then first find out which girl would be better for you and then, try out. You will find out yourself that you don't actuallly need to impress her...in fact you might have such qualities which made her attract towards you.......

Apply the 70/30 rule - you talk 30% of the time, she talks 70%. (Not quite sure what you do if she's applying the same rule, though.)
