A game where the rules change in some random way every five minutes. For example, every five minutes you get new rules such as "can only use foot to move ball" or "can only use hand" or "can't hold ball but can bounce" etc.
Football where you are not allowed to pass the ball backwards (a faster game - ball keeps moving forward and thus more attacks)
Tennis played on a court with sides (a kind of combination of tennis and squash)

Did you know that, when they jump, gymnasts often cover greater distances than the world record long jump distance? So a new sport could be gymnastic-long jump
Speed destruction: two teams are given identical cars and they have to break the car down into units of, say, 1cm. This theme could be continued, so that each time the event occurs the teams do no know what object they will have to 'destroy'.
"Sports of the Absurd" - film someone doing a monotonous, daily task (such as doing the shopping) and teams have to replicate the events and the fastest team to complete the task wins.
Drunken sports - the sport is the same, the players are the same, but everyone must be drunk.
Long distance races (such as 10000m) where the person in last place is eliminated every 500 metres. So, the resulting event tests both sprinting and stamina.
Bang two pieces of metal together and measure the amplitude of sound to determine the winner -- different contests are possible here: highest amplitude, highest pitch, etc.
Laser baseball: instead of pitching a ball, shoot a laser beam and the batsman has to deflect the beam onto different zonal receivers for gaining points. The laser beam can be caught by fielders using a sensor glove too.
Wear suction cups and use them to climb a wall - 50 meters, 100 meters, etc.
Random decathlon. Ten events are chosen at random
Speed decathlon - all ten events must occur over two hours
