What are some personal theories of entrepreneurial leadership?
I'm interested in hearing different ideas/personal theories of what entrepreneurial leadership is and of effective ways to behave in this role (i.e., what are essential attitudes, skills, or actions that entrepreneurial leaders must have to be effective). Specifically, I'd like to nail down a theory of effectiveness (a theory that captures presumed cause-effect relationships).

I would suggest contacting the people who are succesfull at this already and ask them if they would mind sharing a few thoughts on what worked and what didnt work for them, you will learn more from their mistakes than anything else and your research will be then based on real life cases not theories.

Enterpreneurial leadership is to be the first to tackle an area of interest and start up with creativity and open mind.

"entrepreneurial" leadership is different from corporate leadership. focus on the entrepreneurial part because leadership comes in so many different shapes and sizes

Entrepreneurial leadership is about communicating effectively with employees. By delineating the company's vision and goals, and reinforcing them over time (cause), the company's goals become ingrained in employees (effect).
