One final thought is that make sure that the idea is not too expensive idea to develop then you can sell it to the masses or it is expensive to develop but you can sell it to the rich few and make a nice profit. Its volume or margin. Need to think about that [almost 13 years ago]
Another might be presentations or the guy who directs the orchestra. It is vitally important that what ever it is is accurate as speech recognition software has been around for ages. It never caught on because the accuracy was too low [almost 13 years ago]
I said that the most successful inventions are ease of use and functionality. Like Apple and the iphone. Remember gestures have very different meanings with different cultures. The best way I could think of is a software program reading hand gestures from the blind. Perhaps even lip reading and translating into English from different languages. Hope this helps! Good luck!
